Maura is a Tipperary based designer & maker established in 2013. Maura's jewellery is laser cut from FSC certified European plywood & each piece she then hand paints & assembled.  She uses eco friendly materials where possible, from the resin to the glitter to the packaging, to play our part in keeping the environment in good order. Her pieces are bright and colourful, like little pieces of wearable art & hopefully something to make you smile! She uses a combination of modern techniques, like UV printing and old traditional craft methods like decoupage in the pieces.

Fun, bold, and eye-catching! These lightning bolt drops are crafted from FSC birch ply, UV printed with vibrant shades of red, blue, yellow, and pink on a black base. Finished with a glossy eco-resin coating for extra shine.

Available in two sizes:

• Large bolts – 56mm drop with mirrored gold studs & matte gold backs (upcycled material).

• Small bolts – 40mm drop with stainless steel posts.

Earring Details:
• Dimensions (approx):  large bolts dangles have a 56mm drop on 15mm studs & small bolts studs have a 40mm drop.
• Studs on the larger style are acrylic with stainless steel posts, so good for sensitive ears
• The backs on the large dangles are finished with a matte gold material made from upcycled lampshade material. The smaller bolts are stained at the back.
• Even though pieces are sealed, please be mindful of water, don't wear swimming or in the shower etc
• As is the nature of handmade, no two pieces are exactly the same, these are all made individually in small batches, so totally unique to you!
