Cherry Blossom Hoop Earrings by Messy Brunette, Tipperary
€43.00
Maura is a Tipperary based designer & maker established in 2013. Maura's jewellery is laser cut from FSC certified European plywood & each piece she then hand paints & assembled. She uses eco friendly materials where possible, from the resin to the glitter to the packaging, to play our part in keeping the environment in good order. Her pieces are bright and colourful, like little pieces of wearable art & hopefully something to make you smile! She uses a combination of modern techniques, like UV printing and old traditional craft methods like decoupage in the pieces.
Beautiful cherry blossom hoop earrings.
The cherry blossom is the national flower of Japan and its said to signifiy a time of renewal and optimism. One of my favourite flowers!
Earrings are made from some stunning pinks, there is a nice swirl effect running though this acrylic and I have enhanced the pieces further with a hand inked design in gold. And that's not all with these, the backs have also got some style! I have finished this side off with a matte gold effect design, so you have the option to wear this side out if you choose too.
Handmade in small batches in my Tipperary studio.
